Disclosure: I was given these snacks in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.

Hailing from Montana, Farver Farms is a family that is full of fifth-generation farmers. In fact, their Lentil Crunchers were made on their 3,000-acre farm, which has been around since 1926.

These fiber-filled snacks are vegan and gluten-free (note: they are made in a facility that also processes wheat). Not only are they full of protein, they are also full of flavor. Speaking of flavor, you can choose from Salty Signature, Crunchy Dill Pickle, and Sweet Hickory.

All three were delightfully crunchy and are the perfect snack for road trips, in the office, and even as a complement to your meals. Sprinkle them on salads, soups, meats – the options are endless!

Salty Signature Flavor

This was crunchy and grainy, with a nice salty aftertaste. Unlike most unhealthy and overly processed snacks, it didn’t taste too salty. The subtle flavor will be able to mingle with many other flavors in recipes as well, such as summer salads, French onion soup, or poultry.

Sweet Hickory Flavor

This flavor had a pleasant BBQ aroma. However, this variation’s taste was too overpowering for me and leaned towards more sweet than smokey. The Sweet Hickory Flavor may compliment subtlety seasoned meats, such as ham or pork, and are great for fans of BBQ chips.

Crunchy Dill Pickle Flavor

This was my favorite flavor, hands down. It has a faint pickle smell, but does not have an overpowering aroma by any means. The taste was tangy and pickley. I would recommend eating this flavor by the handful. Perfect for fans of pickles, of course.
