Disclosure: I was invited to dine at this restaurant in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.

Nestled in a corner of Boca Raton, Corvina Seafood Grill offers a wide variety of dishes for the seafood connoisseur. From sushi to oysters to the local fresh catch, there is something for every type of fish lover. For those who prefer their food above sea level, fear not: many options of poultry and meat dishes will satisfy your need.

My fiancé and I recently dined here, and sat outdoors to enjoy the lovely pre-summer weather. The decor was sophisticated and ocean inspired, but not kitschy by any means. I loved the ambiance.

For my drink of choice, I sipped on the Spicy Watermelon Margarita. It was not at all spicy, but was refreshing.

My fiancé ordered the Covina Mule with Don Julio (you can order the mule with a choice of vodka, tequila, or bourbon). He enjoyed it, and noted it was not as sweet as other places he has tried mules. He also commented on the drink’s “nice acidity”.

For an appetizer, we had the Charred Octopus (Greek gigantea beans, halloumi cheese, white gazpacho). I found the display interesting, because the octopus was topped with salad. Admittedly, we both would have liked the dish more charred.

The green sauce had a bit of acidity, much like apple cider vinegar. The red sauce that accompanied it was not bad, but I could have done without it.

I feel as if this appetizer would benefit more from simplicity: there were a lot of accoutrements and flavors that did not match, but were great on their own.

We also ordered biscuits and I never say this, but holy moly. They crumbled and melted with every bite and the honey butter is whipped and not too sweet. This is a must order, hands down. I was so enraptured with this bread that I almost forgot to take a picture!

Chilled Maine Lobster with truffled chive dijonnaise was my main course. Thick and juicy, this crustacean paired perfectly with the sauce, which was not too rich. It had just the right amount of decadence – another winner in my book.

My fiancé’s main course was the Skirt Steak Frites (yuca). He enjoyed his dish, although he asked for medium and it came well done. Despite the meat being cooked more than he requested, he noted that it was not dry and he liked the seasoning as well.

Corvina is a fantastic spot with some classic and fun dishes, especially if you’re a fan of seafood and a calm ambiance. Diners also get complimentary valet with validation.

Stop by to enjoy their latest promotion: from now until September 30, guests will receive half off on all food and drink orders placed from 5 to 6 pm.
