Disclosure: I was invited to dine at this coffee shop in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.

Since 2017, Colombian Coffee House has been serving Delray Ave with fresh brews and traditional baked pastries.

New to the cozy shop is four beverages, just in time for the temperature drop. I was able to sample them all – here are my thoughts.

Affogato

This sweet drink is made with 1 oz Colombian espresso, vanilla ice cream and is topped with both whipped cream and cocoa powder. I found it a bit difficult to sip out of due to the mountain of whipped cream and ended up mixing it to drink it. Another solution is to use a straw, allowing you to enjoy the drink layer by layer. Otherwise, it’s a creamy delight.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Of course, Fall would be incomplete without a gourd flavored beverage. I loved that this wasn’t too sweet like other pumpkin lattes I’ve had in the past. The cinnamon stick and rim was nice enhancement.

Cheese pastry and guava pastry

Enchanted Lemonade

Made with sugar cane, condensed milk, and freshly squeezed lime, this drink was also accompanied by a sugared rim. This is the perfect refreshing drink for a balmy South Florida day. Personally, I would skip the sugar rim on the glass, but others may like that added touch of sweetness.

Fruit and Herb Infusion Tea

This contained orange tea, condensed milk, hibiscus flowers with berries and also had a sugar rimmed glass.

I found this drink to be pleasant, albeit a little water down. Take my opinion with a grain of salt (or sugar): I drink my coffee black and am used to more robust flavoring. The berries were a fun addition.

Colombian Coffee House is located at 12 SE 5 Ave in Delray Beach. There will be a new location in East Boca Raton opening soon. Visit their website for more information.
