Product Review: Tari Sauce
Disclosure: I was given these products in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.
One of my favorite aspects of Peruvian cuisine is the sauces. Packed with spice and flavor, these sauces enhance the food, not overwhelm it.
Tari sauce is creamy and provides the perfect texture for a wide variety of meals. In fact, I like to use it in lieu of tomato sauce on pasta!
I tried two sauces and although I did not deem them as spicy, they each have a nice, mild kick.
The Amarillo Pepper flavor is slightly reminiscent of mustard. The bottle dubs it as “mild and tangy.” I couldn’t agree more.
The Rocoto Pepper is my favorite of the two as it is more smokey and contains a higher spice level.
