Disclosure: I was given this dish set in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.

Even the most casual, thrown together snack looks elevated with Stone+Lain.

I’ve praised Stone+Lain before in a previous review and I’ll praise them again. If you’re looking for chic, affordable dishwater that is low maintenance, Stone+Lain is the way to go.

For this product review, I chose the Brasa Stoneware Dinnerware Set in black. The 16 pieces are comprised of four large dinner plates, four small salad plates, four round bowls, and four pasta bowls.

I love that each piece is both microwave and dishwasher safe, and the heavy feel gives an elegant touch to each meal. Each piece is lined with a brown rim, lending a subtle touch of flair to the dark black.

I did notice, however, that a few rims were not fully lined (below image, middle plate). I’m unsure if that’s intentional, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re a stickler for symmetry.

Another piece had a small scratch on it (below image). Admittedly, because I received this product for free, I did not report it but a word of advice is to check each piece upon receiving it. My previous Stone+Lain set did not have any scratches.

Despite these minor setbacks, I still recommend ordering Stone+Lain. Even the most mundane of meals look more elevated. Who doesn’t want that for each and every dining experience?
