Disclosure: I was given this dish set in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.

One of the best parts about owning a home is upgrading decor and everyday items, particularly in the kitchen. There’s something to be said about owning matching silverware, dishes, bowls, etc. It may sound silly, but using nice items on a regular basis and not just once in a while feels, well, nice. Stone+Lain is the perfect example. Looking at their collection, all the dish sets showcase an inviting yet chic, not stuffy, aesthetic.

I’m obsessed with the color combination of gold and white so naturally, this is the set I chose. Made of porcelain, this set features 16 pieces: four round dinner plates, four bowls, four salad plates, and four mugs.

The dish set arrived and everything looked exquisite. The pieces were elegant yet understated, perfect for a clean, minimalist look.

One thing to note is that the dish-ware is puckered, like a golf ball. The pictures online did not depict that characteristic well. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but it’s worth mentioning since it may not be everyone’s style.

These are dishwasher safe, convenient for when I unpacked them. However, they are not microwave safe. Again, not a dealbreaker, but important to note as they may break when you heat them up.

One of my new favorite mugs. Note the puckered design.

This set most likely will be used for freshly cooked meals in my house and not on an everyday basis as they cannot be used in the microwave. However, I have used the mugs quite a few times already for home-brewed coffee. They are lightweight, even when completely filled with liquid. I especially love the sophisticated gold handle.

Whether it’s for you or a housewarming gift to others, Stone+Lain offers a multitude of designs. From modern to rustic and boho to glam, these styles are perfect for dinner parties, bridal showers, birthday lunches, and more.

Visit StoneLain.co or their Amazon page. Stone+Lain is also available at retailers such as Overstock, Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Depot, and Wayfare.
