Product Review: Simek’s Meatballs
Disclosure: I was given these products in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.
Between Thanksgiving leftovers and multiple holiday feastings, you may be looking to eat something healthy that’s also easy to cook. Simek’s Meatballs are the answer to your foodie prayers.
These meatballs can be heated up in the microwave, stovetop, or conventional oven, since they are already precooked. Honestly, I loved the convenience of the prep work for a quick and tasty meal.
Classic Turkey
I ate 8 of these with cavatappi pasta. The garlic and cheese (ricotta, Romano) enhanced the flavor, making this not your average turkey meatball. There are 15 grams of protein per serving (six meatballs) for this gluten and antibiotic free flavor.
Angus Beef
Made with paprika, garlic, and onion, these have 13 grams of protein per serving (six meatballs). I ate six with cavatappi pasta and enjoyed the mild, salty taste. I am excited to try them with a spicy tomato sauce next.
Mini Beef
Let me preface this by saying these are for children. They are also antibiotic-free. This flavor has nine grams of protein per serving (eight meatballs). I recommend slicing them for a homemade meatball parm for your little ones.
