Product Review: Sauterelle Broth

You may have heard of insects as a delicacy, but have you heard of grasshopper broth?

Sauterelle has created two flavors of this intriguing hot dish: Classique and Citron. Both are packaged individually in sachets and are ready to brew. They can be enjoyed by themselves or as a base for a larger meal. Additionally, one sachet (which is one serving) contains zinc, omegas 3 + 6 + 9, B12, nine essential amino acids, and other nutrients.

I was able to try the Classique flavor and truly loved the taste. I tried the broth by itself and enjoyed how flavorful and savory it was, yet lightweight at the same time. I’m sure if you served this to someone without stating that it was grasshopper, he or she would have no idea!

I recommend Sauterelle as a simple yet enjoyable broth to make and eat (or, in my case, drink).
