If you have a nut allergy but feel you are missing out on classic PB&Js and other treats, fear not: Oat Boss Granola Butter is your solution.

Founder Jourdan and his daughter created this line as they both have nut allergies. Their products are also free of both gluten and dairy as well as from other allergens.

Read below to see what I thought of this nut butter substitute.

Blueberry Muffin

The granola butter has a gritty texture, but it’s barely noticeable.

Usually I eat my whole wheat toast topped with almond butter, berries, flaxseeds, honey, cinnamon, and ginger.

Instead, I swapped out the almond butter with the blueberry muffin granola butter and omitted the honey, ginger and cinnamon spices. I’m glad I left them out — the blueberry granola butter paired with the blackberries was the perfect amount of sweetness.

The jar smells like a delicious blueberry muffin, which doesn’t hurt either.

Original Blend

This one is for the purists. I was able to detect the light flavor of coconut as coconut oil is one of the ingredients. There is also a subtle coconut smell, which is very pleasant. Again, I used this on wheat toast topped with blackberries and flaxseed.
