Product Review: Mother Raw Dips
Disclosure: I was given these products in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.
Mother Raw dips are free of nuts, dairy, gluten, soy and canola. As one may imagine, they are also vegan. Read more to see what I thought about the Spinach, Ranch, Nacho and French Onion flavors.
Spinach
This reminded me of the spinach dip found in bread bowls. Eating this with baby carrots was a spiritual experience for me. Okay, it sounds like I’m exaggerating, but this dip was addicting. It’s slightly acidic tasting from the apple cider vinegar, which enhances the flavor for me. 5/5 for me.
French Onion
When I initially tried this flavor with sugar peas, I was so disappointed. It had a sour aftertaste that burned my throat. I gave it 0/5, but then tried it on gluten-free crackers. The tanginess was more balanced and therefore allowed me to improve the rating to a 3/5.
Ranch
I don’t particularly like ranch dressing, however, I was pleasantly surprised by this zesty dip. I give this one a 4/5.
Nacho
This didn’t taste like cheese to me. Instead, it had a decadent, nutty flavor, despite the absence of nuts. This was my second favorite one: 5/5.
