After eating a slew of Easter candy jam-packed with sugar, I needed to cut the sweet stuff out for a while. However, I still had chocolate cravings. You might be thinking, “what is a girl to do?”
Well, I’ll you what I did. I tried Mode Chocolate, a lower sugar alternative.
The dark chocolate bar is comprised of 70% cocoa with only one gram of sugar. The milk chocolate variety has only four grams of sugar. Both use monk fruit as a sweetener.
The dark chocolate flavor had a slightly bitter taste while the milk chocolate flavor was smooth and creamy. I enjoyed both, with dark chocolate as my favorite.
