Product Review: Milkadamia
Disclosure: I was given these products in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.
Almond, oat, coconut, cashew, soy – there’s so many different milk alternatives that it’s hard to keep track.
Here’s one more variety to add to the list: Macadamia Milk from Milkadamia. The macadamia nuts they use are not roasted, but instead are raw. Here are two products I tried and incorporated into my breakfast.
Unsweetened Barista Macadamia Milk
My coffee had a smooth, slightly nutty flavor after I mixed this in. I also used cinnamon and ginger spices for some added flavor. The creamer wasn’t as thick like I assumed it would be, which is how oat milk creamer is. While it wasn’t as watery as almond milk, the Unsweetened Barista was more of a happy medium from all the non-dairy creamers I’ve tried. I really enjoyed the taste of this.
Unsweetened Macadamia Milk
The consistency was thinner and more watered down than I would have liked it to be. I prefer the texture of oat milk, for instance. I used this for cereal, but perhaps it would be better suited for smoothies.
