Product Review: Faire La Fête
Disclosure: I was given this product in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.
Arriving from Limoux, France, Faire La Fête is a mix of pinot noir, chenin blanc, and chardonnay. According to its description on Wine.com, the brut sparkling wine contains only 7 grams per liter of sugar and is “aged on the lees” for a period of a little over a year prior to release. It’s also gluten-free, sustainably harvested by hand, and vegan friendly.
I tried Faire La Fête with salad and bacon wrapped filet mignon. It tasted a bit sweeter than I like, however, this was not a deal breaker. Someone else who drank it said they had a bit of a headache after, but I felt fine. It tasted great mixed with a blood orange mimosa from Mingle Mocktails. My favorite pairing was a slice of mango placed inside a flute topped off with Faire La Fête.
I recommend this wine for a house warming gift or for sipping poolside, especially during these hot summer months.
