Product Review: Bianco Profumo
Disclosure: I was given this product in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.
Bianco Profumo keeps it in the family. Run by a father and his son, the Chicago-based brand places an emphasis on nostalgia and their Italian-American roots.
Styled with loud neon colors and retro packaging, Bianco Profumo showcases a love of the 1980s and 1990s with a modern, minimalistic twist. All three fragrances are unisex, vegan, cruelty-free, and are guided by Arquiste’s Carlos Huber and Givaudan’s Christine Hassan.
I was gifted the discovery set with all three of Bianco Parfumery’s scents. Here’s the lowdown.
Neroli Pomodoro
Notes: Vert de Mandarin Orpur® from Italy, Sicilian Blood Orange, Orange Blossom, Neroli, Petitgrain, Basil, Tomato Leaf, Marigold, Amber, Musk
Love at first sniff. It’s spicy, herbaceous, and perfectly unisex.
I can make out the green leafy smells, which is probably the tomato leaf. The citrus shines through beautifully at the same time. Longevity is decent at 5–6 hours.
Cherry Leather
Notes: Fennel, Star Anise, Black Pepper, Saffron, Ambrette Seed, Cherry, Bitter Almond, Guaiacwood, Pine Tar, Suede, Amber, Oakwood, Moss, Musk
I get nothing but leather from this scent. No cherry whatsoever. It did, however, smell better the longer I wore it. I kept getting whiffs throughout the day, and it was much smoother than when first sprayed. Longevity is stellar for about 8 hours. I will most definitely wear this again.
Lime Remix
Notes: Vert de Bergamot Orpur® from Italy, Vert de Mandarin Orpur® from Italy, Sicilian Lime Oil, Ozone, Jasmine, Spearmint, Watermelon, Oakmoss, Amber, Musk
Initially, I get a fresh blast of lime. A few minutes later, I start to detect tangy watermelon. Beautifully done, a fun twist on a freshie. Longevity is on the shorter side at 4–5 hours.
The discovery scent includes all three of these scents at $25. Visit biancoprofumo.com.
