Product Review: Alter Eco Chocolate
Disclosure: I was given these products in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.
I’m a sucker for decadent chocolate, and Alter Eco meets my expectations (see my previous review here).
With Easter coming up, it’s the perfect time to start brainstorming ideas for gift baskets. Here is what I would recommend from Alter Eco.
Classic Blackout
At 85% cacao, this is bitter and dark (just like my soul). I LOVE this flavor and the bite that it brings.
Brown Butter
This flavor is difficult to describe. It’s mellow and a bit satiny. I was not blown away but not repulsed by it, either. It’s a solid gateway to darker chocolate at 70% cacao.
Raspberry Creme (Truffle Thins)
As a lover of Ghirardelli’s dark chocolate raspberry squares, I adored this flavor. Mildly sweet, the filling does not ooze like the aforementioned chocolate but still has that fruity berry taste.
Orange Creme (Truffle Thins)
This reminds me of Terry’s chocolate orange. Citrusy and balanced, this flavor is tied with Raspberry Creme as my favorite truffle flavor from Alter Eco.
