Product Review: 2foods’s Gâteau Chocolate
Disclosure: I was given this product in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.
2foods’s Gâteau Chocolate originated in Japan and is now made in America. This decadent dessert is created by blending Japanese brown rice flower and Ghirardelli chocolate. It’s also free of soy as well as gluten and is also non-GMO and plant-based.
What makes this dessert different from its sweet counterparts is that there are three different ways to enjoy it: as fudge, mousse, and melted.
Keep the chocolate in your freezer but when you are ready to eat it, thaw it in your fridge overnight.
If you want to eat this dessert as fudge, consume it when it’s completely thawed out.
Is mousse more up your alley? Take a bite after the chocolate has sat at room temperature for about 15 to 20 minutes. Slice beforehand.
For those who like melted chocolate, put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
This decadent dessert lasts nine months in the freezer and three days in the fridge, perfect to save for a special occasion.
