Disclosure: I was invited to dine at 3800 Ocean in exchange for this post. All opinions here are my own.

Crab Crusted Grouper

In search for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner? Look no further than 3800 Ocean, located inside Palm Beach Marriot Singer Island Beach Resort and Spa.

Starting at 4 p.m., there will be a four-course menu created by Executive Chef Marc Rosen. Dishes include Asian Marinated Hanger Steak, Caramel Roasted Almost Boneless Half Chicken and Oven Roasted Halibut and Halibut Cheeks. Attendees can end the night on a sweet note with Strawberry Lemon Basil Cheesecake or Raspberry Chocolate Crème Brulee. The cost is $79 per person.

However, for those too eager to wait until Valentine’s Day weekend, there are plenty of other delectable dishes to try. Take, for instance, the Crab Crusted Grouper. This hearty meal is complete with yukon potato mousseline, pan flashed spinach, forest mushrooms and blood orange buerre blanc. Flaky grouper is always delicious, but topped with juicy crab takes it to another culinary level. Numerous textures and flavors make this dish memorable.

Oven Roasted Corvina

The Oven Roasted Corvina is another excellent choice. This white fish is accompanied by yukon potato mousseline, spiny lobster, mango and piquillo pepper. Though not as filling as the grouper, the fish has a medium texture that will leave you satisfied.

Sweet Corn and Lobster Chowder

I would be remiss to forgo any mention of the Sweet Corn and Lobster Chowder. The gluten free appetizer is creamy, savory and a must to order.

Sesame Tempura Rock Shrimp

The Sesame Tempura Rock Shrimp is another great option to start with. The apricot chili plum sauce and scallions seaweed only enhance the fun dish.

3800 Ocean has a beautiful ambiance, delicious food and phenomenal service. Call (561) 340–1795 for reservations, and maybe consider spending the night in this gorgeous resort. You won’t regret it.
